The Brief

The Design Fix required a complete overhaul of the platform’s brand to effectively grow its user base and diversify into other digital platforms. HotShot was tasked with developing the new brand and managing the initiatives social media platforms to increase the following with individuals associated with branding and design.

The Delivery

HotShot completed an in-depth analysis of the current users engaging with The Design Fix and a comprehensive social audit to identify opportunities currently being missed in campaign efforts. Establishing the user base, HotShot approached leading design software developer Adobe, partnering on their renowned Adobe Awards. HotShot utilised The Design Fix platform to engage with users and encourage sharing, contributions and applications. Utilising, The Design Fix Instagram platform, HotShot, facilitated an exponential increase in applications for Adobe. In return, the global brand cross-promoted the design fix throughout its network, thus, dramatically increasing The Design Fix’s following.

The Results

HotShot’s partnership and Adobe Awards campaign received over 10,000 applications across three weeks and increased The Design Fix’s following by 130% during the same period. The platform now boasts over 55,000 professional designers and the hashtag #thedesignfix has been used to categorise work over 160,000 times.
